For example, a Viper Supercode 1-Way remote start system has a range of up to 2000 feet, meaning you can start your vehicle, unlock the doors, or open the trunk all from the comfort of your home. A 2_way remote start system, such as a Viper Responder LE system, also has a 2000 foot range, but the remote itself can give you visual confirmation through small LED's that the vehicle is started, that the doors are locked or unlocked, or even the current temperature inside your vehicle.
